The First AI-Written Bounley Blog Post — Made With MCP
One prompt, custom-generated visuals, and a real published article: here's how I created my first AI-written Bounley blog post through MCP.
Hey, Bounley users! 👋
You're reading something a little different today. This is the first AI-written post I've published on my Bounley blog using MCP (Model Context Protocol). The fun part? The entire article was started by one message to an AI assistant connected to Bounley.
Not a copy-and-paste demo. Not a fake publishing flow. A real article, on a real blog, with original graphics, put together through the tools Bounley makes available.
It started with one prompt
I gave the assistant a straightforward challenge: write a complete blog post about this being the first AI blog made with Bounley's MCP connection, generate custom visuals, and show the actual request so readers could see where it all began.
hey bounley users!
From the original prompt
So, what is MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. In simple terms, it's a way for an AI assistant to use connected tools and services instead of only giving answers in a chat window.
Here, that connection is to Bounley. The assistant can read how my blog is set up, prepare a proper post with headings and images, and send it to Bounley's publishing tools. That means the result doesn't have to stay inside a conversation — it can become a live page people actually visit.
What the AI did for this post
- Checked the existing Bounley blog and its live address.
- Wrote an original article from the prompt, with a headline and structured sections.
- Created custom graphic illustrations specifically for this story.
- Made a screenshot-style image using the exact words of the prompt.
- Published the finished post through Bounley's blog tools.
Everything here was made for this article. The images are original, programmatically generated designs — not stock photos. And that prompt image is a faithful visual recreation, not a literal screenshot from the app.
Why this is exciting
Bounley is built around the idea of giving personal brands a home online: a site, a domain, an email address, and a place for their work. This is a small example of how AI tools could make managing that home feel much more natural.
Imagine having an idea on the way to school or work, typing a rough description, and turning it into a well-structured draft. You could refine it, make it your own, add visuals, and publish it without juggling a bunch of tabs.
AI isn't a substitute for having something real to say. But if it handles more of the formatting and publishing work, the person behind the brand gets more time to focus on the idea itself.
A little milestone, with more to come
This isn't Bounley's first blog post ever — my blog already had an earlier post. It's a different first: my first AI-created article published through Bounley's MCP integration. And I wanted to document the process as it happened, including the prompt.
If you're building a personal brand, experimenting with AI, or just curious what a tool connection can actually do, I hope this gave you a real example.
Thanks for reading — and welcome to a new kind of blog post.
